The world's first and only factory looking EJ EH Holden solution for your heating and air conditioning needs, brought to you by Classic Car Air
Specifically designed for EJ EH Holden's to replicate the original EJ EH Holden heater box but provide you with heating fresh cool air.

Our systems are tailor made to suit a original factory style EJ EH Holden. They may be used in modified cars but various parts may require modification or replacement in some custom cars to fit in the given space or for custom installations.

Heater/Air Conditioned Box

• Appearance - Looks virtually identical to the original heater box
• The overall dimensions are the same as the original heater box
• All Australian made stainless steel box - Will not rust
• Custom made heater and evaporator cores
• High quality German made fan
• We retain the original capillary tube style heater tap with brass fittings
• Heater hoses are in the identical position as the factory heater box
• Factory looking but all new fan switch which is also AC on off control
  - by pressing the round part in the middle of the switch:
  A. Turns on or off the air-conditioner
  B. It illuminates "blue" under the lid, indicating the AC is switched on
  C. Controls the fan speed identically as it did with the factory heater.
• Uses the same factory slide controls for all heater functions as it did from Holden
• Has "Fresh Air" and "Recycle" - unlike our competitors that only have recycle.
• Retains the original style vent configuration, including:
  A. Floor vent - both heater and AC
  B. Demister vent - both heater and AC with full demister function when demister vents and parts are fitted
  C. Ready for future vented dash pads (not included)
  
• Mounts to the factory mounting points
• Supplied with original style heater cups that direct your air to the demister vents
• Available in 2 models for both Special and Premier
• AC ports come out the passenger side of the box away from the heater ports
• Uses a "block" style expansion valve - less chance of leaking with more accurate performance over capillary screw on style expansion valves
  Please note: There are 2 types of block valves. 
  A. for electric compressor
  B. for mechanical compressor
  
• Supplied with hose end fittings for "block style" expansion valve

AC Compressors

• 12volt electric compressor 
• High efficient 20cc "scroll type" compressor
• Small form factor - 22cm long x 16cm tall x 12.5cm deep
• Built-in LED fault code indicator - for easy fault finding
• Corrosion resistant alloy housing
• Powder coated in factory colours
• Quiet operation compared to others on the market
• Supplied with mounting bracket
• Compressor fittings with captured ferrules 
• Electric compressor requires a alternator that can deliver more than 100amps at idle (alternator is not supplied with the system)

OR

• 12volt mechanical compressor
• Suits many brackets made for old school Chevy & Holden Red/blue/black motor (bracket not supplied)
• Standard dual V-belt clutch pulley attached
• Large capacity 7 cylinder compressor
• Compressor fittings with captured ferrules 

Condenser
The outdoor "radiator" of the cars air-conditioning system that releases heat from refrigerant, turning hot, high pressure gas back into a liquid to enable cooling

• Specifically designed and made to fit any EJ EH Holden standard radiator setup
• High airflow style serpentine condenser - allows more air to your radiator than a parallel flow core
• Measuring 635mm wide x 305mm high x 22 deep and fits neatly in front of a standard EJ EH Holden radiator - (Modified cars please check you have clearance. Your condenser should be wider than your radiator so the brackets mount to the metal of the radiator support.)
• Universal standard 25 X 12 X 7/8 O/RING fittings
• Suitable for use with both electric and mechanical compressors
• Supplied with hose fittings with captured ferrules 
• Requires L brackets for mounting condenser that are not supplied.

Receiver drier
A receiver drier is a crucial component in vehicle air conditioning systems, acting as a filter and moisture absorber to protect the system from contaminants, rust, and corrosion, storing excess refrigerant and ensuring smooth operation by removing water from the liquid refrigerant between the condenser and expansion valve. It contains desiccant material to trap moisture and a filter for debris, needing replacement whenever the AC system is opened or becomes saturated.  

• Large horizonal style receiver dryer
• Sight glass for easy fault finding
• Port for pressure switch
• Includes pressure switch:
  A. Medium pressure switch - for controlling high current condenser/thermo fan's thought the use of a relay on Electric AC compressor systems
  B. Trinary switch - for controlling high current condenser/thermo fan's through the use of a relay on Mechanical AC compressor systems
• Supplied with hose fittings with captured ferrules 
• Includes bracket

Air-Conditioning Hose 
Classic Car Air systems (may depending on system selection chosen for purchase) include Australian Standard thin barrier hose in 3 sizes to suit a standard installation.

Optionally you may choose to purchase more hose for custom installations (I.E mounting in the boot etc.)

We use Australian Standard hose and fittings because they are available from any auto air-conditioning supplier or installer in Australia. 

Hose lengths and type included are:

• 3m x 6 hose
• 2m x 8 hose
• 2m x 10 hose

Installation support and  is available from the authorised dealer you purchased your system from.

*Classic Car Air systems are parts systems and not kits. This means they require installation and/or signed off by a licenced auto air-conditioning technician. 
Your technician should complete your warranty card. Your warranty card is to be submitted as proof of warrantable installation to validate your 12 months parts warranty.

All Classic Car Air system parts has been tested during manufacture, then again during assembly and inspected again before being sent out.
